A Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro Staggered Strat Set Demo video. It shows the 3-pickup set which aim to emulate the chime and bell tone familiar to Fender Stratocaster players in the 1950s, but with a sweeter sounding treble attack.
The pickups use hand ground alnico 2 rod magnets with a traditional staggered pattern and heavy Formvar mag wire. The set is calibrated and includes a reverse wound and polarity middle pickup for noiseless operation in positions 2 and 4. And everything is the right color, thickness and assembled as it was done in the 1950s to give the right vintage look as well as the sound.
